Job location: Etobicoke, ON
Responsibilities:
- Researches grant suitable for ACCT
- Conducts background research on the Arab community in Canada to better inform ACCT programming
- Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections.
- Develops proposal concept by identifying opportunities and needs based on the ACCT’s strategy.
- Assist the Program Development Lead in supporting grassroots organizations that ACCT mentors.
- Drafts proposals according to determined concepts; gathers and formats information; writes drafts; and conducts research on Arabs in Canada.
Requirements:
- University/college student or graduate
- Between the age 17 to 30
- Able to work 35 hours per week Monday to Friday; remotely or onsite
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
