In August we partnering with Mabelle Arts for a special hip-hop/spoken word series of youth workshops entitled “Making a cinepoem.”
Cinepoems are a short-form digital storytelling form that uses spoken word and moving images to create powerful expressions of self. Led by spoken word and rap artist Sergio Guerra, aka Cheko Salaam, and videographer Henry Mak, this workshop guides participating artists through the process of creating their own individual cinepoem.
Dates: Five Tuesdays, August 10th to September 7th and one Friday August 27th from 6:30-8:30pm ONLINE
